The Making of Cabo Wabo Blue Agave Tequila

To create Cabo Wabo Blue Agave Tequila, the agave plants are harvested by hand and then roasted in clay ovens for three days. This process caramelizes the sugars in the agave and gives the tequila its signature flavor. After roasting, the agave is crushed and the juice is fermented for several days before being distilled twice in copper stills. The resulting tequila is aged in oak barrels for up to four years, giving it a smooth and complex taste.
